1. About Drishti

Drishti is an AI-powered Vedic astrology application that generates birth charts (Kundli) using Swiss Ephemeris astronomical data and provides astrological interpretations using artificial intelligence shaped by traditional Vedic astrology principles. The App is designed for personal reflection and entertainment purposes.

2. Nature of the Service

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Astrological interpretations are generated by AI and are inherently subjective. They are provided for informational, educational, and entertainment purposes only.
• Drishti does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any astrological interpretation to your specific life circumstances.
• The mathematical computation of planetary positions (via Swiss Ephemeris) is accurate to established astronomical standards. However, the interpretation of these positions is AI-generated and should be treated as guidance, not fact.
• You should not make important life decisions (financial, medical, legal, or otherwise) solely based on Drishti's astrological guidance.
• Traditional references or explanatory notes provided by the AI are for context and may not perfectly represent every source tradition.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Drishti. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate birth details. Inaccurate birth data will result in inaccurate charts and interpretations. Drishti is not responsible for interpretations based on incorrect input.
• You must notify us immediately at support@drishtiapp.in if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Family Member Data

When you add family members' birth details to Drishti:

• You represent that you have the consent of any adult family member whose data you add, or that you are the parent/guardian of any minor whose data you add.
• Family member data is stored under your account and managed by you.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of family member birth details.
• You may remove family member data at any time.

6. Credits and Payments

6.1 Free Tier

Drishti offers a free tier with limited daily queries. Free tier features and limits may change at our discretion with reasonable notice.

6.2 Premium Features

Certain features require credits or a subscription. By purchasing credits or subscribing:

• You agree to pay the stated price at the time of purchase.
• Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Payments are processed through Razorpay (India) or Google Play Billing. We do not store your payment card details.

6.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@drishtiapp.in within 7 days of purchase. Refunds for consumed credits or completed readings are generally not available.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Drishti for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the App or its API.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure.
• Share, resell, or redistribute Drishti's astrological readings or reports for commercial purposes without written permission.
• Add birth details of individuals without their knowledge or consent (for adults).
• Use the App to harass, mislead, or cause harm to any individual.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, algorithms, and branding of Drishti are the intellectual property of Drishti and its creators. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

Astrological readings generated for you are provided for your personal use. You may share individual readings with others, but you may not systematically republish or commercialize them.

9. AI-Generated Content

Drishti uses artificial intelligence (large language models) to generate astrological interpretations. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, or hallucinations despite our verification systems.
• Our double-verification system (PyJHora cross-check) catches factual errors in planetary positions, but the subjective interpretation layer remains AI-generated.
• AI responses are not the opinions or endorsements of Drishti's creators.
• We continuously work to improve accuracy but cannot guarantee perfection.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Drishti is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• In no event shall Drishti, its creators, or its service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Drishti in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Drishti, its creators, and its service providers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Privacy

Your use of Drishti is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes that affect your use of the App.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the App.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will remain in effect.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
